Bear's Paw Country Club is an established private, member-owned golf community in central Naples. Developed beginning in 1980, the community includes 296 residences consisting of condominiums, villas, and single-family homes set throughout a mature landscape of fairways, lakes, tropical vegetation, and tree-lined streets.
The community occupies more than 245 acres and is centered around its Jack Nicklaus Signature golf course. Bear's Paw combines the character of an established Naples neighborhood with a relatively intimate club environment, 24-hour gated security, and convenient access to downtown Naples, Fifth Avenue South, beaches, shopping, dining, parks, and cultural attractions.

Golf
Golf is at the heart of Bear's Paw Country Club. Its 18-hole, par-72 Jack Nicklaus Signature course was the first Jack Nicklaus Signature course in Southwest Florida and stretches to approximately 7,067 yards from the championship tees.
The course underwent a comprehensive restoration in 2015 with Jack Nicklaus involved in the redesign. Improvements included rebuilt bunkers, new greens, expanded and leveled tees, upgraded irrigation and drainage, new cart paths, refreshed practice facilities, and Celebration Bermuda throughout the fairways, tees, and rough.
Members also have access to a practice range, putting facilities, short-game practice areas, organized men's and women's golf associations, mixed events, tournaments, clinics, lessons, and player-development programming.
With membership intentionally limited, Bear's Paw is designed to provide convenient access to tee times and a more personal private-club golf experience.
Dining
Dining at Bear's Paw is designed around both everyday gathering and special occasions. The clubhouse offers inviting indoor dining spaces, private dining rooms, an outdoor bar, and a dining terrace overlooking the surrounding club setting.
Members can enjoy selections ranging from casual meals to more refined dining, with menus focused on fresh, seasonal cuisine. Private dining rooms also provide flexible space for luncheons, dinners, cocktail receptions, meetings, and member gatherings.
Dining is closely connected to Bear's Paw's social calendar, which includes holiday dinners and buffets, live music, cocktail gatherings, themed events, speaker programs, trivia nights, and seasonal celebrations throughout the year.
Amenities & Recreation
Life at Bear's Paw extends well beyond golf. Members enjoy two lighted Har-Tru tennis courts, four pickleball courts, two bocce courts, a modern fitness center, personal training, group fitness classes, and an active schedule of recreational and social programming.
One of the community's most distinctive amenities is its access to the Gordon River. Bear's Paw maintains a 16-slip marina, boat ramp, fishing pier, kayaks, and canoes, giving members opportunities to enjoy boating, paddling, and fishing directly from the community.
